#3 ribbon replacement DIY

    Hector saved my phone and in record time! He repaired my #3 socket and ribbon cable and replaced my front glass/digitizer after my botched attempt. He was amazingly quick (5 days round trip from Atlanta to CA, including weekends), very fair in pricing, friendly and professional, and quick to respond to e-mail. I can't imagine asking for anything more; he is a gem!

    I had bought a cheap front glass/digitizer kit, read the online guides and watched the videos, yet still managed to mangle the #3 socket (it has a tricky saddle latch). Worse yet, when trying to fix that I ruined the #3 ribbon cable...and my dog knocked the phone onto the floor, cracking the new (cheap) screen.

    Hector fixed this all and in record time. It's great to get my phone back and all is back to normal.

    Where can I order a replacement inner speaker and #3 ribbon from? I ripped my #3 ribbon when taking off the screen.

    I ended up buying a 3g one from dealextreme. Hopefully it will work in my 3gs otherwise I will email you
